Loveland Pass Engagement Photos | Leah And Nick

Leah and Nick wanted some iconic Colorado scenery featured in their engagement photos, so the pressure was on to pick a good spot.

Loveland Pass definitely didn’t disappoint.

We braved the cold on this mid-April afternoon to get some epic winter engagement photos for Leah and Nick.

Leah and Nick told me that they’ve only ever taken ‘about three good photos’ of themselves. So, I made it my mission to bump that total to at least four. Do you think we nailed the mission?

These guys were photogenic af (and I made sure they knew it), so it was so easy to create some great images to showcase their love.

It’s always a great time when you can clearly tell that a couple is in love.

Loveland Pass Engagement Session Tips

If you’re planning on having your engagement session at Loveland Pass, keep in mind the temperature here can be much lower than it is in Denver. Bring warm jackets just in case!

The snow was still packed during this session, so we unfortunately couldn’t enjoy the lake views or hike all the way to the summit, but we still got some beautiful engagement photos!

If you want to avoid the snow, I’d recommend heading to Loveland pass in mid-June to mid-September. However, Loveland Pass can get pretty busy when the weather is nice, so you may avoid the crowds if you go at a time when the weather is a bit chilly.

There was no one else in the area for this session! It also helped that we visited in the middle of the week.

Make sure to come back later this year to see their wedding photos!

Getting married and want epic engagement photos that fit you perfectly as a couple? Reach out and I’d love to brainstorm on how we can make that happen.
